Policy lapse due to “misunderstood clauses” dropped by 27% for an Insurance Leader with AI-powered multilingual translation

About the Client
Our client is one of India's most prominent insurance companies. Legacy-rich, deeply entrenched in Tier I, II, and III markets. The policies are sold in small towns through field agents using handwritten forms, while their urban counterparts are pushing ULIPs via mobile apps on a much larger scale.
The Challenge
When they reached us, their content operation process was fragmented. Their customer base spoke over 12 different languages. But most of their communications, from brochures to policy kits, were either in English or poorly translated in Hindi.
Their product teams kept sending new document versions, while sales collateral wasn't keeping up. DTP teams were overburdened, and compliance had zero time to verify region-specific leaflets. Worse? Agents were using WhatsApp-translated materials to pitch life insurance. The brand needed one thing: Control over how language shaped trust.
Our Solution
We started simple. First, we started translating policy documents, claim forms, and brochures into more than 10 Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia, and Punjabi.
But the game-changer? We integrated our translation engine with their document management system. No more email-based versioning. Their legal and product heads could drop fresh policy documents right into a shared vault. Our team would pick them up, translate, and return them in the exact format, fonts, layout, and margins, all locked. Ready to go live.
We weren't just translators. We became their language compliance layer.

The Impact
Within 6 months, they had translated over 1.3 million words across 15+ product documents, 42 marketing collaterals, 18 onboarding kits, and 24 forms.
There are now more than 3,000 field agents in India who have brochures that are correctly prepared, vetted, and in the customer's preferred language.
Policy lapse due to "misunderstood clauses" dropped by 27% in regional markets. And internal turnaround time for DTP-ed documents fell from 5–6 days to 36 hours.
Not just that. We also built a central dashboard that would show every version of every document, in every language, verified, aligned, and audit-ready. There are no more scrambles during compliance checks or version chaos.
